    Dep 196.16 history? Had this doll for years. Was mother-in-law’s before. Cork knees & arms, but don’t move her at all.

      She is a JDK Kestner German doll mold 195 . She should have fur eyebrows ? Kestner sold dolls to dept stores and were sold in USA also , I am thinking your doll is 30 inches tall ? Is she ? Very nice desirable large size and yes they were toys , The girls took them out on Sundays only usually to play with . You can read about the company if you search Kestner doll company . She likely dates 1890-1920 ,
