I'm posting yet another request for help in finding my Grampa's "City of Boston Hackney Carriage Driver" badge number 2377 issued to him in 1919 by Boston Police Commissioner Curtis. Grampa was also issued a "permit to set up and operate a Hackney Carriage stand at 667 Bennington St., East Boston, MA. This was also the address of Turner's Garage where Grampa kept his horse and wagon. I've collected approximately 40+ of these badges, hoping to stimulate interest and possibly "flush" the badge out of wherever it's hiding. My search has lasted for about 20 years so far, and I have no desire to ever stop looking!!! Any info., help, tips, etc. will be greatly appreciated.
