Robert Brady is a San Francisco Bay Area sculptor whose career spans over 40 years. Brady’s early career began as a potter; today, his versatility and skill with materials has led him to work between clay, wood, bronze, and works on paper. Born in Reno, Nevada in 1946, Brady attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland before entering the University of California, Davis, where he received his MFA in 1975 with Robert Arneson. Brady has lectured and taught workshops nationally and internationally and was a Professor of Art at California State University, Sacramento for 33 years. In addition to being exhibited widely across the country, his works can be found in public collections at the Crocker Art Museum, Sacramento; di Rosa Preserve, Napa; Los Angeles County Museum of Art; Oakland Museum of Art; and San Francisco Museum of Art, et al.
