Vintage Brooch

Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely heavy vintage/antique brooch and was just wondering how old it is, not sure but has a look that I think was popular with the old ladies when I was young, but have never seen anyone young wearing one. Has no markings, the faux stone looks a bit like Bakelite
