These are 8" spoons of the Grosvenor pattern from 1921. They were part of my grandmother's set.
Does anyone know what kind of spoons these are -- i.e., what they were used for? I'd love to hear anything you might know about them!
They are all of equal size and shape, even though one appears wider in the photo.
I forgot to mention that these spoons are NOT worn, but were manufactured with a slanted bowl.
This baffles me. I even asked my Mother who is the queen of etiquette and she doesn't know. Hope someone does as I am curious.

Hello Joyful! The spoons in question are made that way. They are serving spoons for liquids such as soup. While they are not often seen I have several dating back from the 1780's to the 1920's.
