This table is one of my favorites. Maybe you can help me figure out what kind of wood it's made of, and how old it is.

What kind of wood is this table, and how old is it? Would appreciate any history, value, etc. It's in super condition!!
I have a Table that is similar. It has 8 feet at the bottom as well; But, It is a Square Dinining Table with Rounded ends. It is VERY old. Came out of a closed Museum in 1980. It has a Brass/Gold Plate underneath which Says DuPont. Please help me with value (and or) rarity of this table. Have not been able to find anything close to this table, anywhere, Thanx, Daisy
I have got a similar table. Oval shaped four seater breakfast table made in 1935
It's a beautiful piece and is a called a gate leg table.The legs open like a gate.Hard to tell the wood with reflection.Truly lovley
