My dad for some reason kept several Pan Am porcelain signs over the years. Just recently found two pump signs buried on the farm. They match the large 5 x7 double sided one I have. Regardless of condition, I like them because they are part of the gas and oil industry history. I know that in 1923 one half interest in American Oil was sold to Pan Am. In 1956 all pan Am stations were rebranded Amoco. There were several years that utico, pan am, and standard all had the same emblem, with different name.

      Nancy,
I really don't know the value of mine, but I did see one sell for $250 that was new old stock. I have one that is a little older, before ethyl. Mine are rough as you can see. The better condition, the higher the value.
