This is an inherited piece. Maybe a nut bowl? You can see the old yellowed glue through the glass. It has shiny metal on the inside of the foot and tarnished metal on the outside so I assume it's silverplate. But I have no idea how old it is or who the manufacturer is.

This is a KIG piece. This bowl is also made without the silver bottom.

Wonderwoman is completely right. I found a KIG piece at Goodwill, and found the "Malaysia" mark on the inside of the bowl. I guess older pieces of theirs are marked "Indonesia", and once I knew where to look, I found that too.
