Any help in identifying this old wooden Duck. I think it's about 50-60 years old and that's from the person who is in charge of the estate I obtained it from. It is hard wood not balsa and the underside is cut out.

I would guess that it is from the late 30's to mid 40's and manufactured by Animal trap Company of Lititz PA.

Much older then I thought. Appreciate your information and help. How can I find the possible value. Is there a book or reference site on-line that would be helpful./

The Animal Trap company used a duplicating lathe to produce the bodies of these decoys. The made a lot of them, so they are pretty common. Decoys are only worth what someone will pay of course. I would put the value of this around $50.00. If was owned by a famous person or has a unique history it could ad to the value.
