This is a solid and beautiful piece of glass. Not sure if it could be a small compote or salt cellar.

I love looking at your beautiful collection of glassware. You must do a lot of shopping.

I found the same item today at a garage sale. Mine looks identical to yours. I would say it is a salt cup probably. Is your cup small in size....about 4 inches wide by about 3-4 inches tall? Mine is solid glass too and is a little heavy. I wonder who the manufacturer is?

Also, turn your cup upside down.....you could also use it as a candle holder too.

Cool! Yes, I love shopping at yard sales and thrift stores, flea markets. When I have the money, that is! :) It is about the size you stated and is heavy glass. It almost looks EAPG.

I love shopping at the same places too! I feel like I'm addicted to buying these things, when I have the money too. I love the thrill of the hunt to see what treasures you can find.
