I know it was my great grandmothers rocker from the late 1800's. I would like to know its origin. Her mother (great-great) was from Gettysburg before the civil war. My aunt in Virginia had this rocker and several family dressers restored by a gentleman at Williamsburg.

Interesting chair. I never saw a slat back like this one that was that old. It would be nice if someone can identify the maker. Thanks for sharing it with us.
