I have had this for over 45 years came from 1960s when we lived in Thialand or earlier? I see has a crack now, very solid dont know what kind of wood.

I have one but in a different pose, i'm also unsure of the wood, so i shall watch for answers :)
Just found out its from China, Hong Kong possibly, my dad loved Hong Kong in the 50s and 60s he flew Generals there a lot from his base in Thailand. Would bring home these antiques , we all 5 kids lived like kings in Thailand. We were called Army brats?
