    These 5"X7" charming pieces have the distinction of being 3 dimensional. They appear to be paper (as opposed to metal) but despite my best efforts (and a remarkable range of search words!), I've been unable to find any information about this sort of art. Any assistance would be appreciated.

      Hi there, do your pictures seem to be raised out from the paper. The reason I wrote this as I think I may have one the same. The picture is raised from the rest of the picture. The back ground stays flat.

      Yes, that is the case. The figures are raised. It's an interesting effect and I'd love to know more about them. Cheers.

      These are 3-D, Two -D is width and lenght................................these have depth which makes them 3-D.....

      This is the paper writing on the back of mine:
      Can. Patent No. 504.423 New Plakton finish frame with A GENUINE PLASTIC FILLED THREE DIMENTIONAL PICTURE.Made in Canada By: Plastic pictures Canada LTD. Instructions: May be cleaned by waxing lightly and polishing with dry cloth. Hope this helps you out abit --I bought mine at a thift store for $2.00 here in British Columbia --very nice piece --my one and only picture is of roses I would love to hear back if your find out any more about these pictures

      I too have a picture it is of 2 dogs, have just obtained it and have been researching it. I by chance came across this, any new info on them ?

      I have a Blue Boy and a Pinkie. In very good condition. They were my Mom's or Grandma's. Wondering if collectors would look for something like this.
