This frog is some kind of metal it looks a little green but I had to use the flash to get all the detail in the face it weighs 1lb. 10oz it hangs on the wall with by the hook in its hand candle or incense in the other I see no markings if anyone could tell me anything about this I would appreciate it, Thanks
That seems pretty heavy for the size of it. I base that on the picture of it in your hand. It doesn't look terribly large. Will a magnet stick to it?

Ok, in that it is not magnetic I would "guess" based on the weight and color that it is either brass, bronze or lead. I think you can rule out lead because when lead tarnishes it turns a dull gray color. Brass tarnishes to a blue/green color and bronze may show white, yellow, light green colors as it tarnishes. Not seeing it in other than a picture it is difficult to tell. However, tarnish on bronze should brush off easily with a fairly stiff brush almost like it is a hardened powder.

I Love the way this Frog looks but I'm puzzled I've never seen anything like this before it looks old love the design on is face I'm looking for any information regarding his age or where is may have been made
