We cant find the mfg. of this lamp, Can anyone help. I got it from my mother who would be 84 years old and she got it from a friend 40 yrs ago both the top and base light and the glass is a green swirl typy pattern. We have looked all over the thing and cant find a mfg. I would think it should be on it somewhere so I'm hoping someone can help.

Hello howardgeb, I would say that your lamp was probably made by Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass and Glass Co. around 1910-1920. They generally marked their lamps PLB&G Co, but on their lighted bases, as yours is, they may not have signed the lamp. Yours looks like many that I have seen attributed to Pittsburgh. Auction value is $800.00-$1,200.00 depending on condition. Retail, add $500.00. I hope that helps.
