      It looks like it may be a trench art piece. It probably dates from the end of WW2 and may have been made in occupied Germany.

      Any markings on it?

      the jeep is a baier lighter designed and patented by walter baier of germany in 1948-although it was likely first manufactured in 1945 or 1946. the jeep came in 2 sizes and were manufactured in hugh quantities as souvenirs for armed forces stationed in europe-[mostly germany]. yours is the large size which originally came with a trailer ashtray.
