I got this at an auction about 5 years ago and don't know much about it,It was just differant and so a had to have it and now I don't know what to do with it so I just put it in a old box that it came in and pull it out to look at every now and then.Kinda cool but what I will ever do with it I don't know!

The young man's image looks to be a tintype. Based on his clothing, I would date the image to the late 1850s- 60s. Also, the lithograph behind the tintype is Civil War era.
I don't recognize the General, but he is Cavalry (crossed swords) and served in the 1st Regiment (US or State unit??) at some point.
