    My dear husband brought this for me since he knows I LOVE stuff but I cant find anything about FENIX, i google without any valuable hits. I would love to know more if anyone knows anything I would really appreciate it.

      Your machine, Fenix, was manufactured by Baer & Rempel, in Bielefeld, Germany. Baer & Rempel, like most sewing machine manufacturers, 'badged' their machines with different model names for various othe companies, department stores, etc. A good resource for you is Needlebar.org. Scroll down this link to the Baer & Rempel entry in the left column, and you'll see their named machines in the right column, including your "Fenix". http://needlebar.org/main~nb/makers/germany/index.html
