This was my Grandfather or my father’s watch. I have looked online to find out what year it could be but have had no luck. It’s a beautiful copper faced Bulova wrist watch. The original leather band is very rotted but I do have it. I found this new leather band at a jewelry store and it is almost an exact match. If you have any info about this please let me know!

Found the date to be 1948 Bulova Franklin. Sold new for $42.00
Here's one of CW's patrons, He should be able to tell you about your watch. There should be a date code on the back also. If I knew your # I could tell you the date of mfg. But here's Bobs link:

Here is the dating codes on Bulova wristwatches, hope it leads you to your answer. Note you'll have to open the back and look at the movement, because it appears your watch is older than 1949.
