Hubby found this in trash and when I first seen it I thought maybe an old gutair amp, then my mom had told me that it might be an older drive-in movie speaker. I have no idea what it is or the worth of it?? can anybody help me?

Looks like a speaker mounted in a home made housing. Are there any markings?

Have you opened it up? That might help. It looks to be made of wood, not conducive to drive-in speakers, it does not look waterproof. Besides, drive-in speakers are permanently attached with no plugs.
