    It is a lovely piece but i dont no anything about it. all i know is it has 24 carat gold leaf on it and was bought abroad

      I would say and I almost 100% sure that this was produced in Bohemia (Czechoslovkia) around the 1950's. The gold band around the base is so typical of Bohemian glass as the Venetians did not use it all that often. This style is know as Tre Fuoci or THREE FIRES where the Gold is applied and the piece fired 3 times untill the final finish is acheived
