Walking down the street one sunny morning and I come across a trash can with a bunch of clubs. They were all ordinary except for this little gem. A nice putter with a hickory shaft. Morgan's was a large department store in Montreal. This was of course part of a large set -- they rest may be submerged on fairway 8. I have it hanging over a doorway.
Have you ever passed a trash can that you didn't find a treasure in? :-)
It is a little strange all this stuff I find. It usually happens when I am on my way somewhere else. Rarely does it happen when I go looking for something. Living in a big old Canadian city helps -- a lot of history finding its way to the curb.
