Have been trying to research this pocket knive. The hallmarks are from Albert Coles& Co. which was between 1835 -1875. I have not been able to determine its value though..can anyone help me?

Oh, Albert Coles! Early American Silversmith - a great one!!! Beautiful item! Seeing it made my heart race. Not the fact that it's a knife, but the fact that it's Albert Coles silver. Wow.

Value would be a tough one for me, since I know nothing about knives, but I did find a very useful link, with a similar Coles knife, and values.

Here's a link to the hallmarks. Can't see the hallmarks in your photo, so I can't confirm that it's Albert Coles or Coles & Reynolds.
