I have a permanent garage sale every weekend. I give half my money to a program here called NO MORE HOMELESS PETS. They find homes for animals and spay and neuter strays.. Well I ask garage sales and estate sales for what they dont sell and this weekend I got a load and the PHOTO with Scarlette in the white dress was in a frame. I ALWAYSSSS take photos out of frames to see what is behind.. learned that years ago from Antique Roadshow.. well WALLAH there was those other 3 behind it!!! EXCELLENT condition. I figured the person who tossed it thought the photo was ruined and never thought to take the frame apart..
They are 11x14 and 2 of them are on thick card stock paper and the front feels rough and the other two are on thick card paper but the front is smooth feeling like glossy photos.. The rough ones have 41 and 42 on them like auction markings.. I have been on the internet all day trying to find info but all I see are Posters and 8x10 pics.. none like these..
I was told to have them appraised but the ones I called cost too much and I just dont have the money..so I am posting on sites hoping that someone will recognize these and give me some Photo 101 on telling old from copies .. I do feel they are old because of the feel and how the Scarlette one is like chipping away in spots like old photos do..

You andme both Lilly..My husband was out of work in 2008 with a knee surgury ad we justttttttt bought a home.. He was out like 8 months and we went into foreclosure and well it is almost 2011 and still paying back back morgage payments we were behind but Thank you Jesus we still have our home.. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE havin this little garage sale on my screened in porch .. it brings in a little money and some for the Animals but it is still slow yet until people know i am here every weekend.. I get stuff donated and I pra to God for that one special itemthat will catch us up and let me share with my furry buddies...I have tons of stuff and some things I may put up here in case it is old.. it was from estate sales.. Mike was an ANGEL from GOD to show me his page he made for us all to show our stuff. I cant afford appraisers and I try to watch as many shows as I can on things ..I even watch a lot of OLD movies just to se what they had lol
Have a GREAT Christmas and yes i will post whatever I find out with these and ALWAYS REMEMBER... LOOK BEHIND FRAMED PICTURES FROM SALES!!!
Wow, you have been through a lot, and your husband. My hat is offf to you for what you do for animals! I am an avid animal lover, and it feels like you just cant make a dent in the problem of animals that starve, or are abused, or just plain not wanted or loved. It just breaks my heart!! I found a little dog about 8 mo. ago in front of my work with a bleeding leg. His leg was not hurt too bad, but I kept him, thinking he was a poodle mix, but once he healed up, and I had him checked out and had his hair cut, he is a full blooded min. poodle. He is very old and cannot hear, and cannot see very well, but he loves me like you wouldnt believe, and I him. He is my "little man" and he follows me from room to room and never lets me out of his sight!!-- I think it is so cool you get stuff from estate sales, I LOVE stuff from estate sales, and have not had the opportunity to go to many sales, but they really intregue me. I will be watching to see if you find out about your pictures and also keeping you in my prayers for that one little thing that could pull you and your husband into financial security and help with the little furry sweethearts!!! Also, I did buy a picture from the Goodwill store for the frame only, so I carefully took out the picture and it was a numberd print that was actually worth a small amount of money! So I will Always look behind the frame too!-- Bye!!

Lily thank you for prayers..I am impatient alot of times but I always am shown by God..we all havethings happen for a reason and things happen at the right time in life for us. Just like my right lung..I lost it in a mold rental and well I leanred about mold and now I teach others about it and hopefully save lives ..Yes I ge sad and mad alot over it cuz it has changed my life BUT I stop and think.. heyyy if I didnt go thru this then I wouldnt have been talking mold to others..so God figured I would understand and go forth and do some work for Him...And I had avery great chance of getting the 1.5 million my lawyer was asking for when I sued the landlord but he is so evil and had a mold clause in his insurance. So I got 10,000 bucks the first of the year after a 4 yr fight with them..My lawyer felt so bad he gave me his part of his money and didnt charge me. He is Leanne Rimes uncle and you know how she is ,,,and it seem te whole family are horrible..My family knew that a 1/3 of that was going to animal programs..1/3 to children that are abused and 1/3 to my family butttttttt again God has another plan lol and I sure dont know what it is yet...I cried for many days then just one night I had a thought of garage sales and using it to get the money I wanted for animals and well hopefully would eventually get something that would let me expand to anyone who needed me.. If you go to TOPIX.com and bring up worthington springs florida and look for anything written by chocoholicheaven thats me.. I m,ade sure the internet would be full of the 100+ rentals they still to this day rent out and I am to this day trying to close them down but it is hard when his 2 sons are mayor and commissioner and it is a town of like 800.. you will see how long I have been on their butts. I just cost them over 30,000 in Oct when I had the State of Florida check them out and they were still dumping sewage in the Sante Fe river..I have let them rest now but in January I am coming back on their butts again.. The day I die or they close is the day I will stop..It just hurts me so bad that so many families are living in a silent killer rental..and i cant go in to warn them..I have to hope they will see my many writings....If you have Facebook look me up.. and let me know it is you lol I am Barbara Petrone and I have a white mad kitty in a santa suit lol.. Ya cant have too many friends on facebook lol
Merry Christmas Lilly !!! Oh yea.. I have pics of my screened in porch and I probably have more stuff there worth something and too stupid to know it lol ..I am probably going to put this brass mask stand I have up and see if anyone knows about it... I cant tell you how many things Mike gets on the show PICKERS and I am going huhhhhhhhhhhh that is a rusted piece of garbage and he sold it for WHAT!! LOL

About 10 years ago I bought the MGM archives from their Sydney office via a daughter of an executive and one of the 11x14 is as you describe. (Greta Garbo in Camille). An application of texture to make the photo look like a painting. From this collection I also bought four 11x14 from Gone with the Wind. (None the same as yours.)
