    It's 12in. by 8in.I'm thinking it's from the 60's
    It's been in the family's collection for years.I know back in the day
    they would advertise for or with the Yankees.Cool piece.

      12-23-10,Ballantine was founded in 1840 by Peter Ballantine Newark,NJ
      Went through several name changes and passed to his sons.In 1857 it was
      renamed P. Ballantine and Sons keeping that name for the next 115 Yrs.By 1879 it had become the 6th largest Brewery in the U.S. Almost Double the size of Anheuser-Busch.It's most successful period would be in the 40's and 50's though
      advertising. Ballantine Beer was the first television sponsor for the New York
      Yankees.At this period the brand was elevated to the 3rd largest beer in the U.S.
      Also growing into one of the largest privately owned corporations in the U.S. in
      that period.
      By 2005 Ballantine is owned by Pabst and in turn outsources Brewing to
      Miller Brewing.
