A fireplace insert. This is castiron with maybe a copper overlay it is about 3ftx4ft. Really looking for someone who might know what it's worth. There is no marking on it only 992 on the back side of the insert.
I saw one like this for about $300 but it was refurbished and it was safe to use gas. I like what someone said here, it's worth what you can get out of it. There are several levels with items like these.
Cleaned and useable
Needs a tune up to work. So you have to find someone who knows how to fix them (some contractors love this stuff)
Then you have ornamental value.
