Sadly there's no one left to tell us about these family members but I love looking at the images and exercising my imagination. The clothing, settings, furniture, shoes, hairstyles, beards and countenances....absolutely fascinating.
If you have any names at all on the backs of the photos....any dates at all...you can post them on Rootsweb. You can also research them on Rootsweb. It is a very cool hobby. And you can find out quite a bit without spending any money. I found an old Bible once upon a time and was able to return it to family members. It looks to me like these pictures are in the later 1800's. Very similar to some of my family of that period.
