This has been in my family forever! My grandmother died when she 100 yrs old in 1991. She had it since she was younger. My dad kept it hung in his bdrm as a child growing up. If he were alive today he would be 88 yrs old. I have no idea what this is worth? Or who it is? Or anything for that matter! If someone can direct me or answer all the questions I have I would greatly appreciate it!! There are no signatures on it, no dates, nothing. It's in perfect condition.

lwolfold2: No info on the photo but as for the frame-my folks were married in 1911 and I have their wedding photo in the same type of oval frame with a convex glass.

      Are the frames worth money?
    3. sayer34, 13 years ago
Iwolford2: Never checked-would think so because of the convex glass-look on eBay-usually a good source.

It is a variation after a lithograph or chromolithograph published by Muller, Luchsinger & Co. , New York, copyrighted 1901 and titled "On Guard" No. 27.

      Some examples:

I have the same print from my grandmother. At the bottom left it says, "Copyrighted 1900 by Muller, Luchsinger & Co. New York"
