I believe it to be a 42-s, My question is it a steel or copper(Bronze) penny?

If it's a 1943 copper, with or with out the error, It's a gold mine. After reviewing the blow up of the photo, I agree it's a 43 error.

I have had the same 1943 cent for years. Until now I always thought it was a 1942 cent. What can I do to confirm it is a 1943, also is it worth as much as a normal 1943 copper cent?

Just so happens . I have that coin . And I have learned it may infact be a 4 over a 3 making this coin the rarest discovery year
