This bracelet was made from British coins during WWII by German POW's. I made ONE alteration, in that I made it a complete circle for wearing. You can see 5 modern links (2 in the 2 coins and one joining the 4) but all the others were original. I believe that when my grandfather was an MP, occasionally he was in charge of guarding German prisoners, and he told me they made these... I have three separate ones.
So THAT'S where that is! I thought I'd lost it, honestly, I did! I'm glad to know it's safe, sound and appreciated. :-)
If you find a silver ring with a rectangular purple stone in it, let me know, because that's something *I* thought I'd lost ;) hehe
