EH&T Anthony produced a long running simple, amateur camera for the masses starting about 1889 and selling until about 1900. Intended for beginners/students, it was sold as part of an entire outfit at a very low price ( $7.50 in 1891). The camera was also sold (and sometimes provided as a premium) by Perry Mason & Co. and was called the 4x5 Companion Camera.
