Very heavy Mexican Blanket - Geometric and Orange

I picked up this very heavy wool blanket a long time ago. i like the orange color and geometric designs. When do you think it was made? I put it under the 'Native American' category because i think many Mexican traditional crafts, including weaving, stems from the same roots.
