Vintage Pauline Rader Mayan Frogs Necklace

I love this necklace in so many ways. The Mayan frogs are so adorable; it looks like a mommy frog leading its young. The pendant is articulated, so the bottom smaller frog move a lot. The chain is thick and ornate, and the pendant has a big and substantial bale, giving this necklace a more tribal feel. Pendant is almost 5 inches long. Signed 'PAULINE RADER' in a an oval cartouche behind the larger frog, this necklace is rarely seen because Pauline Rader jewelry were designed in very small quantities for a select clientele and elite boutiques only.
