This doll came via a box of bits at an auction, she is terribly dirty and her hair has long gone! The black edging to her dress is very coarse and looks similar to a tinsel used at Christmas! Maybe she has been at the top of a Christmas tree! Would like to know how to clean the porcelain bits of her, I do not think it possible to clean the dress as it seems to be sewn on. Thanks for looking I hope she is of interest to you!! Also if you have any idea of origin, I would appreciate that too!
German doll house doll about 1920's possible made in Japan . It will be marked with name of country . You can glue a little bunch of hair on her head . Not a new wig old human hair or mohair . Very cute
Thank you Manikin, I had not considered her being a Doll's House doll!! I know nothing about dolls either! She was amongst other things, but I do love her very much! Trouble is I only have very short hair, must look for a donor with long hair who will not miss a bit!!! LOL!
