Bought this for $10.00 at the Hospice Thrift Store and lady said"Who priced this I wonder" I loved the price, No dots old! It says in lower left corner NR 3,525 In right corner it says Eigenthum u Verlag v F Lenz in Berlin, I am pretty sure but letters were a little different then. Size frame 24" X 21" print 15" X 12" Colors are bright and in good shape, frame is older with nails, on wood frame in pencil written for why I do not know is 1797? I think by looking at ships and people and boats maybe 1840-1860? I do not know? I will research the flag! Need help with this! any rowers out there! Maybe Rhine River? Thanks for looking!!! Don

Most beautiful! Am I mistaken, or has the oak tree by the river been tinted by hand? Perhaps by hand.

You have a good eye Mikko! I looked at it with a jewelers scope and I believe it is hand tinted. It is different than other parts of print!! Thanks! Just that one oak tree as far as I can tell! Again Thanks!
