    This Bible belonged to my great grandfather, the man in the photos. His name was William Obright but he signed the Bible using his German name Wilhelm Obrecht. He was born in Indiana in 1859 but both of his parents were born in Germany. The Bible isn't in very good condition and I keep it in a plastic ziploc bag. Any suggestions how I might preserve it? Thanks.....

      You can put acid free tissue paper over the signature then place it in a acid free box. Dave

      NO LIPLOC! Moisture gets in and it will ruin it. Acid Free!
