This is a Central Scientific Company (Chicago) Model #267 Balance Beam Scale, Circa 1918. I found the 1918 Central Scientific Company Catalog on the internet and the price was listed at $15.00
This scale was used in a High School Chemistry Laboratory until 1964 and thrown in the dumpster. I was in the right place at the right time. I rescued it and cleaned the brass and painted the stand. You can actually weigh air with it!
