I'm not sure about this pitcher. I will find out more about it on Tuesday.. I found this at a second hand store, and I know Colbalt is good stuff. The mark on the bottom it too blurry to capture just what it says and the previous owner has absolutely no clue as to its history. All they knew was that it was given to them by their mother some years ago.
Any information you can give me on this would be appreciated. From the look of it, up close, I can see a pattern that had been repeated by a distinct line where the image was 'cut' and then glazed. Its definitely not hand painted.

Is that an A J Wilkinson mark?

Okay... thus far, I have found this to be "Transferware", but the mark still alludes me. I'm not certain of the pattern quite yet either, still researching.

mine is very difficult to read but 2 pairs at once of very strong power reading glasses did it.
