    I have had this for several years and I am not sure what it is or if it is worth anything, any ideas? it would appear to be cast from aluminum.

      Looks like you have a National Hot Rode Association car plaque for a drag meet in Alamogordo, NM. The car plaques are a throwback to the early 1950's when car clubs displayed there plaques in the back windows. One of the plaques that sticks out in my mind was the Wailers of LA Harbor.

      Thanks, that makes sense then as to why it has no mounting holes. Were these common? I have not has any luck in finding another one like it.
