      Well that isn't your typical religious medal. It's Catholic, pre 60s. Looks like antique gold. If you type the Latin inscriptions into Google you should be able to get some info. I'd suggest you contact someone at a Catholic university, preferably a Jesuit historian.

      Looks like a St Thomas Aquinas medal on one side (rough translation related to roses and host of angels). The other side mentions Truth/Blessed be the Name of the Lord...doesn't show images (of a praying girl, etc) that would represent St. Thomas and I can't read the words well enough in the photo to decipher the rest...so there I get stuck.

      I can't tell, but maybe it's related to this...that mentions both St Thomas and Mary and uses the term 'confraternity' that is similar to one of the words on your medal...http://www.angelicwarfareconfraternity.org/resources/prayers/
