I bought this picture about 20 years ago at an auction. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it especially what the marking are along the sides. I think it is a pencil or watercolor. I have no idea what kind of paper is on it, it almost looks like some type of old wallpaper?
Does anyone have any information on it?

This is most likely Japanese (or perhaps Chinese), possibly early 20th century. Paper mounted on silk brocade, probably an ink wash or oriental watercolor. Seals are common signature, but unreadable for me. Not likely to be a reproduction, probably an original with some value. Puppy with feather is an unusual topic, rather nice... Hope this helps.
i have a pic you will have to check out im lost on mine to i think mine is chinese but i noticed your bottom border is exactly the same border i have on mine that goes around the whole frame . they must be the same time period. if you find anything out let me know and i do you the same. been looking but without much luck
