I was working in a neighbors yard and found this "Half Pint" bottle buried next to a tree. It's half full and I've not opened it. It has the writing on it stating "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE". There is also writing on the bottom. I can make out most of it. I believe it says " DES PAT. 94??? D 26 MADE 53 (EMBLEM) 41 USA. If you would be able to shed any light on this, I sure would appreciate it. Thank you.

I've posted two more pictures showing more detail of the neck. Hope it helps.

Am I correct in the guess that the 41 on the bottom means that it was made in 1941? Also, is the emblem in the bottom what gave away the manufacturer? Thanks for yalls help and input. :-)

In a lot of places it is called a "Q" such as a Q of rum. 1/4 quart.
