WINE STORAGE BOX

I love old boxes of any kind and this wine storage box is a beauty! I love the old paint and rusted hardware, but especially the hand painted Fleur De Lis design all over the piece! I'm not much with dating these type of boxes and it doesn't have any makers marks, the back has a rest for the lid and I haven't seen one with that feature, also another odd thing is that there never were any handles and the wine storage boxes that I saw on line either had a top handle or side handles , but I believe it is vintage maybe a homemade piece ,if not , it's still a beauty!
