This bottle was found under an old house built in Savannah around the 1880's. I did not learn about looking under old houses until I met a fellow bottle collector. He showed me some of the things that he had found while looking under old houses. I was amazed in what he had found. Here I have been looking for trash pits and out house pits never thinking of looking under a old house or building. I will say going under an old house is not going to be easy. I found this bitters under a house. Partly covered with leaves and some small wind blown yard trash. If you look at the top of the bottle you will notice it still has the cork in it. It was a lot better to find it under an old house than having to dig a big hole for it.
