A very sweet older couple gave me this lamp.
he told me it is a whales rib lamp.
He had purchased in the 1970s.
I believe they called it that because of the shape of its pedistal.
The shade is non removable plastic tube like pieces.
It also has the three way light ajustment.
Ya me to.when i picked it up
