The binoculars have "Flammarion" between the look through lens and also has a "crest" on each side of the name. I researched "Flammarion" and found (Nicolar) Camille Flammarion. The binoculars were used in WWI and WWII as an officer's model. Inside the case on the lid is " Guinajlt Lefrileux -J- Sevres (5 ct 0) in pencil. Does anyone know more information about the owner?
