I can plainly see Whitey Ford! Worth getting it appraised. If it is original, you have a good find just judging from that signature alone! Good Luck !!

i looking from the history of the players looks like i got a yankees ball from the late 60's and early 70's if im right.

Probably Brooks Robinson -- The Yankee Third Baseman.
    8. musikchoo musikchoo, 11 years ago
Sorry, It would'nt be Brooks Robinson -- Not a Yankee.

Pull up 1960's Yankee line up and match up the Names.

      there is another question,

if Jackie Robinson name is on that ball can it be the 1955 world series ball when the Yankess Vs the Dodgers ?

It is not a MLB baseball-- they have been made by Rawlings since 1955 and marked either Rawlings (AL) or Spalding (NL). Since 1977 all MLB baseballs have carried the Rawlings logo:

      http://www.thinkbluela.com/index.php/2012/10/17/rawlings-puts-the-ball-in-baseball/

Your ball is marked "Wilson" and "American Association" vice "League".

Additionally, in photo #3 on the left you have "Don Drysdale"-- a Dodger HOFer who made his debut in 1956.

Your ball is pre sharpie and ball point pen signed. Signatures compare favorably with known examples of Drysdale, Mantle and Ford.

The stamped signature in the first photo says Edward Doherty Jr., President. Doherty was the president of the minor league called the American Association from 1953 thru 1959.

Mantle played 40 games for the Kansas City Blues in the AA in 1951.

I also saw Harvey Kuenn's signature on the ball. He was a very good player -- rookie of the year in the American League in 1953, batting title in 1959 -- and later managed his hometown team, the Milwaukee Brewers, to their one and only World Series appearance in 1982 (I went to game 5, so I recall that part vividly). As far as I can tell, though, Kuenn never played minor league baseball.

On your second photo, it looks like Al Dark (aka Alvin Dark) signed it. Dark was the major league rookie of the year in 1948. He managed several teams through the 60s and 70s.

Finally, it also appears that Paul "Big Poison" Waner signed the ball. This would put a day on the signatures of no later than mid 1965 because Waner died in August of that year. Waner is a Hall of Famer who had over 3100 hits in his career and had his number 11 retired by the Pirates.

I don't have anything that would tie these players together yet, though. I'm still looking for that.

I see Yogi Berra and what does appear to be a Jackie Robinson signature.

That the baseball is real, authentic signtures and dates in the 1950's with hof players from the dodgers and yankees teams
