Heres yet another unknown vase whose maker I have no clue. It stands 7 " tall has hand painted branches (under glaze) with cherry blossoms. The body has a high glaze with heavy grazing. There's a paper sticker on the neck of the vase an either a japanese or chinese symbols on the bottom. I went to http://gotheborg.com/marks/index_marks.htm which is a fantastic site for identifying far eastern ceramics, but could'nt find the symbol. Can anyone please...HELP!!!?

Dear Spiperato, this vase was made in Taiwan, between 1955-1975 I would say by the look of it. The mark at the bottom is Zong Hua Tao Dze, which means "China Pottery Company", that was based in Taipei. They closed around 1989 but were quite famous here. They produced a lot, but if your vase is in good shape, should be worth around US$ 70. If you can send me a better picture of the sticker on it, I might be able to tell you more! hope it did help.
