Hi,
I bought this duck decoy at a local estate, together with another (older looking) one.
No maker's name that I can see....
Is this a real decoy or just a decorative piece???

There are collectors of these. I would love to have 1 but it might look a little out of place next to a palm.
Any idea how I can tell if it's a "real" decoy, as supposed to a decorative piece?

Looks decorative to me-- the unpainted bottom shows no age or use. Additionally it doesn't have any connector or bottom weight.
The paint looks like it was painted/ aged to give the appearance of an older decoy.
Your other decoy looks like it may be real.
