Heavy Pottery Dish with unusual mark

This is a beautiful, heavy pottery casserole with a nice turquoise drip glaze. The mark on the back looks so familiar yet I cannot identify it so I was hoping someone could help. I took a pencil rubbing as the mark is hard to see on the clay. This piece weighs 6lbs! Any help would be appreciated!
